McAlpine WHB-1 Wash Hand Basin Self Closing Valve

This McAlpine self-closing basin valve is designed to maximise under-cabinet storage by eliminating the need for a standard trap. The internal membrane opens under water pressure to allow free drainage and closes to block foul odours and sewer gases. It also acts as an air admittance valve, eliminating the need for secondary ventilation in the discharge pipework, and can be easily cleaned by removing the split pin and membrane.
